From more contemporary and avant-garde architecture projects to classic and iconic architectural pieces drawn by Mr. Gustav Eiffel himself – like Dom Luis Bridge – Porto is filled with stunning architecture. It’s impossible not to feel mesmerized walking along the river and looking up to the bridge, or strolling along the more modern part of the city and not feel small compared to the breathtaking piece that is Casa da Música, in Boavista
‘Porto Ponto‘, Porto’s status was considered to be one the best identity brands in the whole Europe. Fresh, clean and always very versatile and adaptable, ‘Porto Ponto’ represents what’s best in the city, as well as it’s marvelous architecture and design features!
And of course, you’ll notice right away how colorful and cheerful Porto can be! With a lot of sunny days, all the colors that make up Porto’s riverside front become even brighter and everything will look even more beautiful!
And with lots of the original Greenery everywhere, Porto is the best city to feel inspired to create your next big design. Take a walk in the ‘Jardins do Palácio de Cristal’ and you’ll feel reenergized with all the green and the majestic peacocks casually passing by you.
Whether you’d rather wake up facing the river, or Porto’s most prestigious avenue – Avenida dos Aliados – the essential thing is that you can do it with a lot of styles and in a very luxurious way. Both The Yeatman andIntercontinental hotels offer you the opportunity to enjoy some of the best views in the whole city!
When you’re visiting Porto, you have to take some time to visit one of the most exclusive and ancient coffees of the whole city. Majestic Café in the heart of the city, right in the middle of the shopping district, is a no miss chance to drink the best expresso coffee and enjoy the best custard tarts, or as we like to call them, ‘Pastel de Nata’.
Finally, if you’re in for a serious meal, and you’re the biggest meat lover you know, then put yourself to the test and try one of Porto’s most known dishes, Francesinha. It’s literally just lots of good-quality meat on bread, a lot of cheese and the best sauce you can think of.
